L.S. Sharrow writes mostly hard-boiled noir mysteries, with a Jewish private detective.

Coming from a family of storytellers, lithographers, painters, and one glass artist, her interests include evolutionary biology, and paleoanthropology. Growing up her family spoke five languages -- English, Spanish, Yiddish, Russian, and German – and although she speaks only fractured French, Spanish and Russian, she’s quite proficient in English.

A murder mystery novel, MOXIE, and its sequel, HOT TOWN, with a private detective—a woman, no less—are available on Amazon, along with a short story of suspense, COLD SNAP and one of satire, THE NOMADIC JEW AT THE PALESTINE HUMAN RIGHTS RALLY.
